A further option would be to buy a breeding net or similar.

Given the fish you have in the tank are mainly relatively peaceful tetras, and that gouramis can be aggressive and territorial - esp when spawning, you should be able to leave the parents to do their thing without much in the way of problems. The guppy is probably the most likely to cause issues - you could place him in the breeding net while awaiting the spawn.

You can then wait until you have fry and then transfer them to the breeding net, or alternatively just float the eggs in the net (obviously after you have removed the guppy)

Good luck with it, although if you do manage a large spawn it is going to be a necessity to buy a new tank.
