Guest
When I breed my fighters I set up a bare bottom tank with a heater, sponge filter and a lid or a 1/2 of a polystyron (spelling?) cup lid. Then I condition the 2 for 2-3 weeks to get them ready for the spawn (some people do it for less). Then I put the male in the tank for a while and add the female but put her into a clear container so the male can see her. When he gets a good start on his nest I add the female to the tank and wait for them to breed.

Guest
I've breed my male crowntail with my female that has crowntail in her, but they would breed the same wouldn't they?

Guest
I'm not totally sure it would be between 50 and 100 nearly 3 week old fry and have got the parents in another breeding tank now so hopefully some more fry soon.
