Cookieskennels
hey all what kind of around the house stuff can i use, oh and does the wood have to be drift wood? im wanting to change my tanks around
Caryl
Driftwood looks natural. Freshly cut wood will seep and possibly be toxic. Do not use treated timber. By stuff arund the house I assume you mean for tank decor? Anything non toxic. Ceramic mugs make great caves as do terracotta pots (or plastic for that matter). Watch the paint on many items as it may be toxic also.

dannybanks
i went down to the river after the big floods we had up here last year and found a big piece of black log witch had been washed up and sunk right down in my tank and looks pretty awsome
Caryl
Searching river banks after floods is a good idea as extra always gets washed downstream.
