fattythecatty
Yesterday I was given 2 young (@ 4cm) gold severum. Well, it was either me take them or they were off down the toilet. I have popped them in my 4ft community tank for now and they are swimming about happily at the moment but I'm thinking this probably not be a permanent arrangement. What is best for these fish? David R
Tank size is probably fine, they get to about 20-25cm. They might get a bit aggressive if you have a male and female and they start breeding. What other fish are in the tank, how much filtration, plants, etc??? fattythecatty
I'm running an Aqua one CF1200 and an internal Aqua one AT882. It's quite heavily planted but was planning on thinning it out tomorrow as I have some cool driftwood ready to go in. The current occupants are 2 large Angels, 2 Hoplos, 5 Clown loach, 6 Tiger barbs and a school of Serpae tetra so with these guys a bigger tank may be on the cards one day anyway.
