repto Posted April 6, 2008 Report Share Posted April 6, 2008 just had an interesting email from Mark Feldman,some of you may know him?Anyway he is america doing a study on egg inducing drugs for turtles.The farm he is on at the moment is apparently the biggest over there in Louisiana.They have 8 ponds with 20,000 turtles in each pond,produce 1,000000 hatchlings a year,5000 adult females come out of the pond to lay each morning??he did not say which species but will findout.
