fattythecatty
I have 2 Angels, about 18mnths old. They are nearly identical but 1 is definately a female as I've seen her laying eggs. She's done this numerous times now but within hours the eggs are eaten or infertile. The last few days I've noticed the second Angel really giving her a hard time and Im suspecting they are both female, would I be right? How can I make my grumpy girls happy? Do they need a Man?
supasi
the second could possibly be male but not yet ready to breed. She could be tormenting him because he not puting out. (maybe it realises that she his sister, check for red marks on her neck)lol
fattythecatty
I've never seen any aggression from the female. Would adding another Angel make the problem worse?
Scuba Sam
In my experience, if I have three angels, I soon have two, or on one occasion, one as they both died of injuries!! I have heard that four is ok. Next time she lays you could see if the other angel has a sex organ showing (near where the poo comes out) and see if it is the same shape. Good luck - angels are very cool fish. Sam
