georgeous
Hey, My male angel is looking a bit unwell. He is quite bloated and where the pectoral fin meets the side of the body it looks red. (Amazingly, all the pictures I took of him yesterday are of the wrong side  ) He is still quite happy (fins un-clamped) and so is she. As to the bloat, maybe we got the gender wrong?? They have laid eggs in the past, and I can't quite remember who had the skinny tube  . Any advice appreciated George

Any idea why?? no idea but when i had angels they did that to. i even put the bloated one in a bucket of epsom salted water thinking it was constipated. it stayed bloated for a while then it went down, still a mystery really. smidey
what i did was, get an 10L bucket. fill it with tank water & add 4 table spoons of epsom salts. add big bellied angels for 15 minutes. then remove & return to tank also, does the big bellied fish seem to have pop eye? Thanks for that, As for the eyes, not really popped but out further than my girls eyes... And, while we're on the subject, they are both looking after the bubbles on the heater, maybe as if they are eggs. Will this stop them spawning? Also the tnk is quite warm - 27 degrees.
