Guest
Hi guys I thought that I'd post some pics of my frog tank. It isn't the best tank but its a good tank for frogs. The tank is really hard to get photos of so I hope you can see the tank OK This is a full tank shot This one is a pic from the top veiw. This is a more closer veiw of the whole tank Hope you like it I'll try and get a few pics of the frogs later (they're 2cms long and like to hide in the moss and behind the log). Anything you like or anything you think is wrong please say.

Guest
Yeah it only cost me $10 to set up. I got the plants from my bush, I got the gravel from the creek (I put it in boiling water first), I already had the tank and it cost me $10 for 2 frogs. Guest
Thanks guys. Just wondering what other insects do frogs like to eat. So far I've fed them mayflys, flys and they're may have been some bugs on the plants and the log that they've eaten.

owen
Thats a nice looking wee setup I have a few things to add though- golden bell frogs need uvb and calcium to grow well. Calcium from slaters, baby snails and worms. uvb from a uv light or the sun. or I guess you could dust their food with supplements? I have seen a lot of pet frogs that dont get uvb or calcium and they never reach full size and they tend to have weak floppy limbs. IMHO it is much easier to keep adult frogs than to raise them from froglets.
Gannet
UV??? ive seen 6+ year old frogs and they have never had UVb because the uv from a lamp will burn there skin
