Mine is around 9-10cm's pretty big 2 years old now he is the shape he will continue to be for the rest of his life, nowhere near as high as yours is which is why I know yours is a royal blue or other.. And im confused you changed the name, that is what ken's male looked like also :)

Glad you sorted it Anna I hate to say it but I told you so lol Good luck contacting people and telling them that they didn't buy what they thought they did I would appreciate it but still not be happy..

Yes agree'd with firenz Chilumba's are very peaceful and small, my one was bigger than the other peacocks in my tank but when I first introduced him he got beaten to within an inch of his life in a very short time (about as long as it took me to catch him out again), he let all the smaller peacocks push him around even with a tank rearrange. I have managed to get him into the tank now just from luck but he isn't the most dominant which is why his colour isn't great at the moment, can't wait to find him a girl and get him into his own tank :)

I reacon not even a pure Royal Blue (hansbaenschi, Red Sholuder). My thoughts are a Chilumba male crossed with a female RB or some sorts.

When I went to purchase my lot I saw the male Chilumba which was pretty awesome but noticed a couple of females that was really high in the body. I asked the question but was assured that the male hadnt breed with these females. Just one female that was elongated. Boy did i get suckered in.
