Dixon1990
Could a Male Betta happilylive in a community tank with apisto borelli and bolivian rams?
curtur
I think you may get some aggression there - siamese fighters are sometimes not very picky about who they fight with, and even dwarf cichlids get be a bit tetchy at times. fish_fingers
My fighters and Rams all get along fine, the Rams shoo the fighters away at spawing time and when they are guarding babies.... this works both ways though.
Fenriswolf
I think it's very much a case by case basis. I got a bolivian ram to live with my betta and she shredded him. *sigh*

Fenriswolf
who's he and who's she?? :-? Good question, I wasn't very specific. The ram was (I believe) a female, the betta is definitely a male. I got her because she was miserable at work in a completely shite community with slightly alkaline water and nowhere to hide, very shy and retiring - apparently my betta's fins were just irresistible though! Gave her to someone who has a beautiful set up and she's looking great
