ozzchick
Can anyone please tell me how much water is in my tank please. The measurements are 61cm left to right,38cm front to back and 49cm high.By my calculations i got around 113 Ltrs, but i think i may be wrong
paekakboyz
H*W*L then divide by 1000 and you have the capacity of the tank (remember that you'll be adding gravel, rock, wood etc so there will actually be less water in there). You were pretty much spot on, I got 113.58 so roughly 113 litres in the (bare) tank. Things get a tad more complicated if you have an odd (curved, hex, etc) shaped tank! ozzchick
Thankyou both,i did use the H*W*L divided by 1000,so nice to know i got something right lol :bounce: the 2 front corners are angled off but im not too worried about the difference that makes,as long as i have a rough idea of how much water is in it.Now to work out how many fish to keep in there
