K R Brown
i am shuting down oodball tank to start up african setup going to keep pitus x2 what about eels fire tyre track any good or should just sell em?
malawiman
IMO get rid of them. They prefer pH of 7 and with Africans you would want it around 8 or 9. They grow large and will eat small fish, up to 3 inches.
nemines
you should probably sell them, they have different feeding requirements to most africans and could eat your cichlids. as malawiman said, they also inhabit significantly softer, more acidic water. K R Brown
thanks guys do you think pictus would be ok with em?
nemines
they may be fine in a malawi set up, though they may not be aggro enough. a tang tank may push their limits a bit due to water chemistry IMO. you could always experiment... synos seem to do all right.
