blueit7
I seem to collect male betta fish. I can't stand seeing them stuck in little containers or bags so I have to buy them and bring them home  My question is, I have no females and am not set up to breed these fish. Will my boys be happy never having girls to play with? They take turns at building bubble nests every now and then. They don't appear to be to concerned. They all have tank mates or various kinds. All community fish that are smaller than they are and that don't nip fins.
Adrienne
In their natural habitat each male lives alone, only sees a female if one happens to pass by (thats why the females always have eggs). Its not going to hurt them.
Fenriswolf
Yeah, and you could have issues if you add females anyway. My females beat up my boy. So I'll be sticking to my one lovely boy and the girls can have their own damn tank
