Jalil30
I was sold a GSP as a freshwater fish at my LFS. upon doing more research i found out he is actually brackish. instead of taking him back I bout a 30 gallon tank and made it brackish. now it's just him in there. What would be some good tank mates for this little guy? Are there any algae eaters or bottom feeders that can survive the high salt levels in the tank? Dixon1990
WHen they get bigger around6" they need to be full marine.
HaNs
Bumble bee gobys(spelling?) Puffers are quite aggressive, so you dont want to stick much in with them
Jalil30
Do they get along well with each other? Can I just have a puffer tank maybe. all that tank seems like such a waste for one little guy. I do like the Gobies I will look out for them. Ira
Scats and Monos are probably the only other two commonly available brackish fish.
davidb
it pays to do research BEFORE you buy fish, and then you will have far fewer problems! Problem with brackish tanks is that fish like scats/ monos/ archers grow quite big. Bumble bee gobies would work well though,
Ira
I fail to see how a nice sized fish is a problem.
Dixon1990
Bumblebee gobys would be cool. They are very small though. But most other fish are scared if them because of their colours.
