Clintrockevans
I have this other problem, I have this 300 litre tank and I have a pair of bristlenose which just constantly breed and I now have 50 1cm babies everywhere and in the cave another which looks like 50+ are on the way. My question is besides stating the obvious what will happen if they are kept with Clowns and other community fish, will they be ok and will they use up all the oxygen and make the other fish suffer? Any advice? Im guessing my choices would be to sell/give them away them off of get "another" tank
sharn
Nothing will happen if you keep them with other fish. The other fish might eat the babies but thats it. I think it would take *alot* of fish to deplete oxygen levels if you have the correct filtration/turnover, the main thing you should be worried about is the increase in bioload which will mean more maintence to keep the tank nice (thats if theres heaps).
