Mrs Frog
I have just noticed that my Angels fins are ragged and it has small holes in the top and bottom areas of the fins (see pics), also has a small white bump on the body. I've tried to get some over pics for you to see what I mean.
me love fishy
Possibly its fins have been nipped by other fish in your tank. What else do you have in there? not sure about the small white bump
JK
yes what other fish do you have in the tank? Any barbs by chance?
Mrs Frog
I HAD 3 zebra danios and 3 neon tetras. They have been taken out and its just the Angel in there now. Can you see the small holes in the photos...and this morning I notice that she/he has very small lumps along where the top fins join onto the body....sorry not good at explaining what I mean
Scuba Sam
Whereabouts is the white lump you are concerned about? Not sure what part of the fish to look at on the photos!! Some of my angels have slightly ragged edges to their fins and are not in anyway unwell, just don't have smooth edges to their fins - is it a new change? Mrs Frog
The ragged fins aren't so much of a worry but the two small holes and 4 or 5 bumps on the body is a worry, I've just started another thread that may explain whats going on
