Zhacque
I have to say, and Sapphire saw it, really, but our brittle star moves damn quick when it wants to.. If it was hungry enough.. Fish could be on the menu. Let's face it.. They don't normally eat coral, either, and ours did.
wasp
I just threw a bit of mussle into the tank in the area of the star... it grabbed it, but wasn't anything aggressive. Probably not a fish hunter then, the one I had, even if I gave it some mussel, would aggressively coil all over it, obviously how it would deal with live prey. Started to freak me out there was no way I would have hand fed it. Had sharp teeth too, I used to put the mussel on a bit of wire to feed it, and it would bite the wire you could feel it's teeth grinding on the wire. Fmxmatt
Yeah mine had 1 arm coil around it, but not in a way that was aggressive, more like it was grabbing it to try and sneak it away from the shrimp, who were watching intently to see if they could pinch it
Sapphire
We've found though since feeding ours specifially (just twice) it's not as quick or determined when we feed the sun corals. I do have to say though that it can eat alot at least it did the first time. i do hope your fish is ok, but I suppose it has been a while now. Fmxmatt
I dont hold any hopes anymore, dont get me wrong, if he's swimming round in the tank when i get home, i'll be more than stoked... but thats just wishful thinking
