Afrikan Posted December 8, 2007 Report Share Posted December 8, 2007 Yeap definately halfbanded spiney, we used to keep them some time ago, neat fish and definately safe in a smaller fish community... they might take the odd baby guppy etc... they love blood worms, mysis shrimp etc.... Be careful as they are great escapers, as most are... they will slide through any gap they can manage to find, so make sure you have a nice safe lid on your tank. They are a very peaceful fish and relatively shy, definately wouldn't keep them with semi aggressive cichlids. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All my other tanks are filled with Fish I am sure will snack on those little guys, or is at capacity already. I do have a small 10 gallon i just bought for convict Fry once they are independent I can add sand and put them in there maybe.. I JUST WANTED THEM! Everytime I go to the LFS they never have any.
