SpidersWeb
By fluke I think I've come up with an interesting breeding pair of angels. Dad: Large white pearlscale, perfect specimen Mum: Black Zebra Lace (black with green tint in certain light and 3 stripes) I expect the young to be hideous, but it wasn't the case, and I've just moved a batch of 300 eggs to a dedicated tank. The first batch were looking like angel fish at only 2 weeks old, but were accidently poisoned and only one survived. At 4 weeks old he/she is a fantastic great looking angel fish with full colouration. I was impressed not only from the strength of this fish, but also its very fast growth rate on flake food. Also blacks are normally weaker, not in this case! Of the offspring at 2 weeks all were the same size (no runts). Just had to share that. When I get a photo of the offspring I'll take a photo. alanmin4304
Black zebra lace has stripes between the stripes and then spots between them as well. Only double blacks are weak, thats why it is best not to breed black to black

alanmin4304
When I was breeding angels pearl scales were not around but whites were a double blusher and double gold gene, and black and silver (striped) are dominant over both. If you bred the offspring to each other you could get some interesting and probably atractive young.
