i just have mine in another small tub with lillies. They get fed a mix of crushed egg yolk one day and very finely crushed (almost powdered) flake the next. Careful using egg yolk as it fouls the water quick. Chuck a couple of snails in if you have some. Weekly (sml) water changes, perhaps an airstone and sponge filter if in a tank. Bbs when theyre slightly bigger. Weed out the deformed ones ie; bent back, no tail etc. When you look at them everyday, they dont seem to grow. Most of the ones you have in the pond will be fair game for the parents if they can catch them too, unless you have heaps of plant cover. Hope that helps.

Thanks,

found hundreds of snails

in the dam when i was catching tadpoles some are in a tank with the tadpoles. I will put some in the tank with the fry. i think about 5 years ago i might have taken some oxygen weed from pond to dam and must have been snail eggs on it. Theres no snails in the pond anymore (except for a few i introduced from dam the other day) And every time you do a swoop with the net catch about 30 waterboat men 3 snails and 2 HUGE tadpoles
