Guest
Finally got some of these lfs so I bought 14 of them and got them home put them in tank and 11 of them died in the first 3 days so the store said that they would give me replacements of any that died when they get them in as their whole tank died as well (they say it was the suppliers fault). So now I'm thinking that I will turn them tropical and put them in my comunnity tank and breed them after I get back from Christmas holiday as I don't want to have any more fry before I go away. I just wanted to know is it best to breed them in cold water or tropical? Do you get more fry if they're bred in tropical or do you get more fry if they're bred in cold water tanks? Guest
Thanks for that tHEcONCH it answered a few other questions that I had just was still wondering do they breed easier or better in cold water or tropical.
tHEcONCH
Generally fish are more likely to breed in warm, clean water - WCMM's are probably the same.

tHEcONCH
From that article "Over the years I have used two methods to breed them with a high success rate. Temperatures for both were set at 22-23C/71.5-73F." Go read it again
