fattythecatty
Just noticed some small white worm things just above the water line in 1 of my tanks. Never seen them before, don't know what they are and how to get rid of them safely. Any ideas? Are they dangerous to my fish? Thanks
jolliolli
are the a couple of centimeters long like a fine white thread and free-swimming? If so they are harmless and usually due ot overfeeding, cut back on the feeding and they should disappear once the food supply runs out. fattythecatty
Yep, that's them. Only a 2 foot tank with 8 young tiger barbs in it (who will eventually move on to a bigger tank). The barbs seem to be eating them, I'm guessing this isn't harmful?
Caryl
Not harmful. Possibly planaria.
