herefishiefishie
hello people, Pics 1 & 3 are Aulonocara's , the thing is there are a shit load of variants, when buying africans it pays to get the variant, eg; pic 3 looks like an eureka red. Pic 2 is a Sciaenochromis ahli, electric blue. pic4 is a Labidochromis, electric yellow last pic is a Copadichromis borleyi, these are late bloomers. So as stated before could be m or f. All are lake Malawi & the only mbuna is the electric yellow. The Julies (marlieri) are from Lake Tanganyika. Sweet pics too. 8) Frenchy
Caryl
Thanks Frenchy. Yes, I agree with you as to what they are. The pic I was referring to when I said I forgot to ask Sid was for the wrong ones - I was referring to the rainbow I posted elsewhere which has been causing dissention as to what it is
Caryl
Here is a pic of my male borleyi who is getting randy and chasing everything in the tank! I only have a double fluorescent on the tank so there is not enough light to show him off. He is flaring beautifully - usually at the back of the tank where it is too dark - even with the flash. Must add some more lights.
