'Jerry Springer' Scalare

Had to share this story.

Was in the garage last night doing crafty things, and noticed my angel fish were laying, but there was two females??

One had chosen to lay their eggs in the corner of the tank, the other female had chosen a filter pipe only a few cm away, and they both like the same male (despite another being available).

Anyway each female would lay a stream of eggs, then male would try to fertilise them, then the alternate female would eat them as fast as she could! Was the weirdest thing to watch. For some reason neither female thought the other female was a threat.

Talk about a love triangle.

(Removed one of the females, let them lay the eggs, and removed the eggs, didn't check for a 2nd set this morning though)
