imsweet
Our new filter (that came with the tank) is very powerful and has a little sticky outty bit that you can adjust the air flow. So basically its either a strong current or strong flow of bubbles. I would like to know if theres a way to shut it off completley? Have planted some large plants along the back and they are constantly being pushed to the right. Have a pic... its the little bit to the right of the unit, with the sml bit of air hose above. Its an R3100, FLmax 450 L/H.
Ira
Point it at the wall. Or get some less wimpy plants that can stand a little breeze.
imsweet
Changing direction is outta the question. It can only go one way. More plants are on the way as just filled it and trying to set up to get cycled and the rest.....
ryanjury
If it has an outlet its direction can be changed, what about a random right angle jammed over the outlet pipe will do the trick
imsweet
Good thinking... Will get the plumber onto it. (hubby)
smidey
stop the plumber. my sunsun tank has the exact same filter system, mine came with an alternative fitting that does not have an outlet if you dont want the bubbles. its designed IMO to be used for air bubbles with a insert fitting that has a pipe & air valve for adjusting the amount of bubbles. if you do not want bubbles, then fit the other part like i have done. imsweet
Awesome thanks for that. have just this moment found some piping from another tank and modified it to fit. Now i have a bubble wall. Amazing what you can do when you look outside the square.
