Dixon1990
I have just bought a 3'Long x 2' High x 1 1/2'Deep tank off trademe. I am planning on having just south american fish in there. What would be a suitable filter for it? And What size heater will i need?

davidb
I'd go AquaOne CF1000
Dixon1990
a cf1200 Wouldnt be too strong would it? I think i might just pay an extra $15 get one of these.
evilknieval69
Nah 1200 would be fine, you can easily face the spray bar toward the back or something if its too much flow for the fish/plants. Plus you always have that option of using it on a bigger tank later on

Naz_Nomad
and/or keyhole cichlids. My favourite fish ever. These are full of character and always busy and very easy to please. An excellent choice!

Dixon1990
What would be the best cheap way for lighting?
Ianab
Are they peaceful? Sounds like a decent sized tank Gives you a lot more options than the smaller tanks. Keyholes are about as peacefull as a cichlid gets Should be fine with your other community fish. BGK will get too big for that tank eventually, and eat the smaller occupants Cheers Ian

michael.qian
Can we get a picture of the chip? If it won't affect the reliability of the tank I wouldn't bother returning it, unless the chip is very very large.
