Adrienne
Was doing a water change tonight on the tank with my new kribs in it and realised they weren't coming out. Shone a light in their cave and there were eggs all over the roof of it. I've only had them 11 days. How long do the fry take to hatch and what is best to feed them? evilknieval69
I dont feed the krib fry at all i just feed the parents as normal and dont vaccuum the bottom as often. The parents will take the fry out on little 'feeding ventures' every now and again and the fry will pick away at the leftovers whilst the parents guard them.... Ive had great success with fry like this, but im sure if you fed BBS you could get healthier, and faster growing fry....
Adrienne
Thanks evil, I'm going on holiday soon and didn't want to have to teach my son how to hatch bbs. Its certainly breeding season in my tanks at the moment, hmmm... might have to set some more up to take the overflow.
Adrienne
Saw the fry today, counted 30 of them that I could see, just about free swimming. Had to take dad out, she was attacking him so he's relegated to a spare tank.
