coelacanth
I had a solitary (rescued) skunk loach in a tank of 200-odd bronze corys. When i went to catch some corys to take to a shop, well over half of them had one or both eyes missing. Now I keep skunks in species tanks, not communities! Never heard of clowns doing it, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they did.
je_suis_ketan
I have clown loaches and they are pretty peaceful fish. None of my Tetras have lost their eyes either. In a shop I think 10cm clown loaches would be about $15 each. Am I right anyone???
HummingBird
Not at all, clowns about half-three quarters that size go for $15-$20 in shops usually. Bigger ones are more expensive, and much harder to come by.
markoshark
PM davidb if you want to sell them. 10CM is getting on to be an impressive loach...

Chazza404
Ive heard of skunk loaches to be eye eaters not so much clowns and theyre pretty peaceful in my experience, they don't have teeth but do have a barb type thing behind their eye which they can use to nip ya so doubt it was a bite
KELLYMAN
Yeah must have been the barb type thing that got me lol They are now on holiday round at a mates place, along with a Red Tailed Shark... I think I need another tank! I get in enough trouble for the one I already have ....... her in doors is not keen on fish!
smidey
i had two largish clowns in a community tank for over a year & had no problems at all. I have seen in HFF albany, "XL clowns" which were about two inches for $35 each. i thought that was a bit steep!
