CatBrat
I would have thought that if this were an Upside Down Syno then it would have the adult colouration (or at least started to change colour, as it is 6cm and they only get about 10cm) of the speckled grey. Also it does not swim upside down at any point, (other than in its cave) which the USD syno does almost all the time. I may be wrong, but I will just have to wait months and see what it turns out to be. Cheers, CatBrat.

Rob
Just to be sure we're all talking about the same thing upside-down-syno = Syndontis nigriventris. The 5 that I've got haven't shown a patterning like CatBrats mystery syno (even when they were smaller than 6cm).
CatBrat
Hi, I got myself a new syno today from Jansens. I think that it a is a Yellow Marbled Syno (Synodontis schuotedeni), but I'm not sure. Here it is - http://fff.corydorasworld.com/gallery/CatBrat/Resize_7 http://fff.corydorasworld.com/gallery/CatBrat/Resize_6 http://fff.corydorasworld.com/gallery/C ... e_7?full=1 Sorry about the bad pictures.
