Nicolette
Hey all. Just got a new bottlenose (our first catfish) and wondering what temp they normally live in. What info I have found on the net seems to be conflicting. I have the tank at 26 degrees at present and he seems ok but just wondering... Thanks. michael.qian
You mean bristlenose? Can't find any info on "bottlenose catfish". If it's a bristlenose 26 is fine.

Ianab
26 should be fine for a bristlenose. I keep my tanks around 24-25 the various plecos are happy with that. I think they can handle a pretty wide range, anything 22-28 should be OK. Cheers Ian
