Milet
Hey all I just aquired two "Good Size" Silver Dollars off trademe. Just a few quick Q's. They will eat all plants in my tank right?(Including Java moss and java Fern?) Will they get along with Tiger Barbs and Kribensis that arent too big? Or do they eat smaller fish? Thanks heaps

davidb
should be fine with the Barbs and Kribs. They are pretty shy fish
coelacanth
I haven't known them to eat Java fern, but apparently others have. The other fish would have to be VERY small for the dollars to eat them (again, I've never known dollars to show any interest in eating other fish, and I would expect only babies would be at risk). Barbs and kribs would be fine. Also, dollars are usually pretty flighty so don't put rocks in their tank. Angels as tankmates help keep them calmer. Loopy
They will be fine with many fish. Just avoid the small type. They generally just keep to themselves but can get confused at feeding time.
Afrikan
Hey guys I moved this to the freshwater section due to the fact that Silver Dollars aren't cichlids, so more people may view it here in the freshwater section and comment
