David R
How long is a piece of string? Look at the size of the oscars mouth, look at the diameter of the fire eel, remember that oscars grow a whole lot faster and ate stupid enough to try to eat anything they think can fit in their mouth, then make a decision. sharn
I agree with David, Oscars grow real fast (1" or so a month till theyre around 10") and they may get big enough fast enough to eat the little eely up, im not sure how quickly they grow though. I know they can be kept with oscars but they do need to be a reasonable size to not become a tasty worm to chase around
