markoshark
This is what i'm thinking: 10x WCMMs 3x Odessea Barbs 1x Crayfish. Are the WCMMs going to be fast enough to escape, or will they get eated? Same deal with the Odesseas
jayci
Crayfish will need to be kept at a temp below 20degreeC. Might be tricky in the summer months.

markoshark
if they are acclimatised, apparently. Usual story, they will "live" but they won't thrive.

markoshark
Don't suppose you know where I could get any freshwater bullys around auckland would you? Also, are there any native plants that would work in this kind of setup?
Alan
Try some streams up the Waitacks, or up the top of the rivers out at the Hunuas. Nice Sunday trip. As for the odessas, they are not cold water. Coldwater are fish that can live thru winter outside. Maybe if you said that they can live in an unheated aquarium inside, I'd go for that. But saying that they are coldwater could mislead newbies, just like the c/w guppies, NOT.
