Saxsena
I have 8 small angels in my 4 feet tank. I see my twisted val leaves getting smaller everyday. Bits are floating on top too. Do you think angels eat them. How can i avoid that?
Lady-Lene
I watched mine take a large bite out of a new plant yesterday and promptly spit it out - just checking I spose. Check out the following article. Its a list of plants and which fish like to eat them ... it says the Angels favourite is Val http://fins.actwin.com/aquatic-plants/m ... 00269.html I did read somewhere else that they need to have Spirulina regularly in their diet. Maybe that would deter them.
HummingBird
I used to keep a pair of angels in a heavily planted tank, I never noticed any damage - they could have been taking small bites out though. Overall, the answer to your question is no.
Caryl
They will nibble and some plants cope better than others. What other fish are in there?

smidey
my angels have never done any damage to my flat leaf plants, who could tell if they touched the cabomba.
