Good question, I have never really thought about it, SJO's tend to hang around - where as rainbows tend to be very active. SJO's like their food but the nature of rainbows may push them off it?? They are confident and bossy fish however they are also soft bodied so do not react well to being pushed around, I would not call them aggressive. caserole Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 I have keep and breed rainbows before, so know there behavior and I am the guy that bought the original breeding stock of blue gularis from which the t/m seller's breeding stock originated. As for your question... Hard to say it's not a clear cut thing, it depends on the set of your tank and If you pay attention to whether the killies are getting the food they need - they could be just fine and a nice addition.
