Milet
Whats a good filter that i can use for a small tank for growing up my angel fry in? Prefferably one that doesnt run off a air pump. The fry are still very tiny, only a coupel of weeks old. Thanks in advance
smidey
the best for fry tanks are the air pump run sponge filters & the filters are quite cheap, think my twin sponge filter was around $
jayci
If you don't want to use a air type filter, then try a small internal filter with a sock or stockings over the intake of the filter. I have done that with a shark internal filter.
Adrienne
The advantage of using a sponge filter is that fry can feed off the nutrients on the sponge as well.
TM
plus sponge filters have a very low flow rate, most others will suck the fry in.
