Fatfish
About a month ago my largest Black Moor Nymph started floating around the tank belly up. Apart from that, he was feeding normally etc, and after some enquires I discovered he had 'swim bladder disorder'. Well that was manageable (I changed his diet etc. and he was soon back to his normal charming self!) However, suddenly (like over night) he is sitting on the bottom of the tank tilted slightly to one side (like he did when he had the swim bladder thing) and not moving unless another fish bumps him. He has no visible physical markings, and seems to have periods when he behaves normally, although he is off his food. I have taken him out of the main tank, added some extra salt to the water and upped his diet of peas (recommended to me along with other things when he had the swim bladder thing) but he hasn't come right. Any suggestions?
Caryl
I wonder if he has swallowed a stone and it is stuck in his system? Goldfish are good at that. Some Epsom salts may help but perhaps someone has a better idea.
