smidey
Hi all, I have noticed since i increased my filtration rate from 4.5 times to 9.5 times (200L tank/1900LPH filtration) per hour I have not had any great amount of algae growing. there is a little on the bracket of the power head but very little grows on the back wall or any where else. anyone else out there got similar filtration rates & very little amounts of algae? Caryl
A lot of algae does not like strong currents.
smidey
I dont have strong currents at all, i have cabomba! The spraybar from my canister is facing into the back wall & the wet/dry filter has 4 feeders that distribute the water.
