Milet
How big are male Bristlenoses when they get thier bristles usualy? ive got two about 5cm and neither have any bbristles at all. Is this still too small to sex or do the males get them early on? Thanks
Faran
When transferring them run a finger over the nose. If slimy it's a male, sandpaper/rough it's a female. This is usually only indicitave when lip bristles have formed.
fishboi
depending on the breeding some grow much larger therefore will get their bristles at a bigger size.

Andrew_W
having owned a BN for 4days, i would say I'm an expect on the subject (yes that was sarcasm) But i believe the males have a wider head than the females (or so I am lead to believe).
