fish soupzoo
My platy has a white bulging something above one eye and has had it for one month. Have treated with Aqua Blue in an isolation tank but this didn't appear to help. Not sure if she can see out of it now but don't think it's Pop eye. Any advice would be helpful, thanks  PS will try to attach photo when I have worked it out! Moved here for better assistance. Bill Mod. Caryl
Is this white something fluffy? A pic would help. If it is fluffy it is a secondary fungus infection, possibly due to an injury.
fish soupzoo
Yes, it does look fluffy. So what do I do now for my fish? Any ideas? Picture 1 Picture 2 Mod SpidersWeb - fixed up your pictures. Snapfish links dont seem to work in the IMG tags, might want to try photobucket.com etc instead
Caryl
The pics are so small I can't see a thing sorry. It sounds like the fish has hurt itself above the eye and has now developed a secondary fungal infection as a result. Treat it with a fungus medication.
