reef Posted April 10, 2007 Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 The aquascaping in quite nice, lots of space for fish. Tank is a bit too new for acropora as many look dead and have gone brown from the heavy nutrient load on the tank. If you want a nice hard coral tank you can’t do it in the cheap as you need a better skimmer, lighting and more water movement. The red sea skimmer would be ok if you had a better pump to run it as the eheim is not powerful enough, i assume you have the 1260 eheim running it. Lighting is just adequate for SPS corals and another 150w would do wonders. However for LPS coral and leathers the lighting would be ok .
