becc4
I have added 2 new pieces of wood into my tank, I thought they were water logged from the horrible rain I had left them out in, but no. Refilled the tanks after the move and the blinkin things have popped up and hovering mid tank. How long will they take to sink?
Afrikan
If it is dense heavy wood it will take less time to sink than if it is a light wood.. If it is floating around midway down then it shouldn't take too much longer.

whetu
I have a hunk of wood in my tank that still doesn't sink on its own after about three years. And the person I bought it from (on trademe) said it was already waterlogged at the time! I've screwed the bottom of an icecream container to the bottom of it, and I cover that with gravel. It's just got to the point where that's enough to sink it, without additional rocks on top of the wood itself.
