Milet Posted April 3, 2007 Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 Okay tank is 600X300X300mm and is quite heavily planted so i dont really wanna pull it apart. What i want to do is lift it off the desk its on, and replace the desk with a shelf and put tha tank back on it. So im not realy carrying it around, just lifting it up, and ptting it back in same place. Is this possible to do without breaking the tank? Caryl Posted April 4, 2007 Report Share Posted April 4, 2007 You will still find it heavy enough with just the substrate and gravel Milet. I would just empty the water and fish into a large container (not bother bagging them) or buckets then pour the lot back in when ready. The plants will cope for a couple of hours out of the water. be careful of the fine stemmed plants like cabomba or ambulia as they will break easily without the water to support them.
