bli
Has anyone had success growing Glosso with Discus type water parameters? I am trying to form a carpet at the front of my tank, but the glosso is growing a lot slower than I thought it might take. A thin thread like algae seems to be winning at the floor level. Is this plant suited to a slightly lower temp? Discus are #1 priority however! Tank: 120x45x60 Temp: 29'C Ph: 6.2 Lighting: 2 x 54 T5HO Powerglo, 2 x 30w Aquaglo, 1 x 30w Arcadia Tropical C02: 2 x Nutrafin Yeast Mix Substrate: Daltons aquatic mix underneath a layer of Silica Sand Am i doing anything obviously wrong? alanmin4304
I have had it growing in a glasshouse that gets up to nearly 40 deg C and it does well, but it is not continuously that hot. It also needs strong light.
antwan
I've had it growing just dandy in 30 degree water.
