spangela
Hi, ive had two discus in one of my tanks bloat up and turn upside and die in the last couple of months. Dunno what is causing it, could it be bacterial? . Nitrate nitrite etc are all fine. i have 10 or so tanks in my fishroom with discus and this is the only tank it happens to. Any suggestions to why this is happening and ways i can stop it happening would be great, cheers
Luke*
Hey Spangela... bloat is one of the biggest killers. Grab some magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) asap and treat any showing the signs...it is a laxative

Luke*
Heya, I don't believe there's a known cause, but overfeeding is suspected. I had one discus die of it after a huge feeding of colour bits so I put it down to that.
