reef
i like how tidy they are. you cant see any cables. Pretty much take home and set up. Not to sure how good the lights are for coral, but would be excellent for fish only.

Gannet
i set one up as a disply tank at The Animal Shack yesterday (no water just a disply for sale) the lighting is T5 compact (well thats what they say they are) the filter, skimmer, heater are all in the back. the lights have a built in timer and then there is a multi box in the back of the tank so all the plugs are hidden. so i think as an nano they are awesome and if i get one set up then you will have to come and see itfor your self... Tom Gunner
"T5 compact" Can you get those lights over here in 10,000k and actinic? One problem I found in building Nano tanks in New Zealand is the range of suitable bulbs in smaller sizes. In the states and Canada I can remember them selling quite a range of smaller power compacts, but here it seems to be either the standard sized T5's, or MH which get far too hot for a compact hood. reef
Some of the larger lfs might have some? They are not very popular so that could be why you dont see them. Also most of them are just stamped 10k for the aquarium trade.

Faran
The distributor needs to carry parts and spares for any item that they sell for a certain period of time according to certain acts. Whether or not said parts will be reasonably priced is a whole different story though! I saw one of these when it just arrived at Hutt Pet Centre and needless to say the staff were looking forward to playing with it. Now all they need is a Marine section!
