andrem Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 Have just upgraded from a 1.2 x 0.5 tank to a 1.5 x 0.6. I have a arcadia metal hallide lamp with 2 x 250w lamps (20k aquamedic). Anyone running anything similar on a 5ft? and what results have you had. Have been thinking of changing to 2 x 250w running luminarc refelctors or adding some t5 tubes to add some more light. tel Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 ive got the arcadia 3, 2x250 with 2x t8 actinics. im pretty happy at the moment with how is going on my 5 ft. definitely is less light at the ends which is where i tend to put more lps. i like the varience of light thru the tank, that could change tho as i increase sps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
