The Great White Hand
Hi, I would welcome your opinions of Osram L30W 965 Bio-Lux "Natural Sunlight" for a planted tank Regards, TGWH
mat692
It is a good tube IMO gives a very natural colour and good specturum range for plants bit pricey compared to the tubes at bunnings unless your getting them at wholesale cost
The Great White Hand
Cheers Mat I appreciate your input. I picked it up for $18 at Rexel here in CHCH, seemed reasonable compared to $60 for an Arcadia. What do you buy from Bunnings for planted tanks? I purchased as a bit of a punt, after posting this item I did a google search and found more info on this bulb which was reassuring. fishboi
i use the same bulbs for my 3' and 2' double fittings but have one 'Natural Sunlight' and the other "Warm White". their nice long lasting bulbs and seem to do well in planted tanks. i buy my in box of 20 [wholesale] so its a lot cheaper but $18 a tube IMO seems very reasonable.
