davidb
hey I got a bta and two skunk clowns today(thanks steve) I also got a sand goby today who is soooo cute but is really shy... I am just wondering wether I can turn my powerheads off overnight because my anenome seems to have a fascination with jumping off a high rock... Last time he did it I only gust stopped him from being sucked into my aqua-clear 402. Thanks for your help guys. The anenome seemed happy all day on one rock but has just started his wierd jumpy business
Fay
Yes I would turn them off when you go to bed to be on the safe side.
goby1
i wouldnt as this is what helps to oxygenate your water and also you if they are hooked up to your filter i beleive it could be dangerous for your bacteria. If it was me i would put a sponge over the intake of the powerheads. davidb
they are not attached to my filters- I would still leave my overflow running so my skimmer would still be going in my sump
