Tropheus
Hi You will need more then one female. Try at least 5-6 as these guys are very agressive. I started with 5 females and three males. Two of the males had to be placed elsewhere due to fighting and now only have 1 female as the males just keeps killing them. But the good news is i have about 50-60 fry
ryanjury
I had 2 males at one stage too really agro buggers couldn't find females and got sick of the agression so got rid of them..
herefishiefishie
I have kept a few different species of victorians & had the same problem with aggression. I had a case of plastic sexing, but thats another issue. If you want to keep & breed these guys, a tank set up in divisions. I used slate, with plenty of rock work, hidey holes. 1 male to as many girls as you can. Even the girls can pick on each other. Frenchy
Johannes Visser
Thanks for that, Might pass on them. I hate to see floating (dead) fish  Will keep this guy for a while and see how he behaves, or he will be up for sale! :-?
